Sydenham Neighbourhood House
Sydenham Neighbourhood House has been in operation since 1993.
It was originally known as the Sydenham Community Centre and was located at 7 Community Hub, Sydenham until 2012.
Brimbank City Council assumed management in 2007 and since has been awarded Neighbourhood House Coordination Funding from the Department of Human Services.
In 2011 the Council’s Neighbourhood House Program moved to a District approach, in line with Brimbank City Council Community Strengthening Policy and Council Plan. The centre fell under the Northern District and programs within the Northern District are offered from Delahey Community Centre, Sydenham Neighbourhood House as well as locations in Keilor.
In March 2013 the Neighbourhood House moved to its current site at Sydenham Community Hub, Level 1, 1 Station Street, Watergardens Town Centre, Taylors Lakes.
